Job Description

The HR Service Center Representative will deliver superior customer service to employees and HR colleagues across the organization and will positively impact the employee experience from the onboarding process through separation. This role will support the HR Service Center by conducting New Hire Orientation,processing necessary transactions in the HR system, supporting HRBP s andmanagers regarding HR transactions in the HR system and responding to all employee inquiries. As an HR Service Center Specialist, this position will be responsible for answering calls/e-mails, providing responses as found in the document management system and creating new data for team use. This role may include subject matter expertise for certain functions/processes within the HR ServiceCenter.

Job Duties

HR Service Center General Responsibilities

Delivers superior customer service to employees and other HR teammates on a wide range of issuesincludingtransactions, policies and procedures.

Performs accurate and timely data entry into the HRIS system including, but not limited to promotions,salary adjustments, reclassifications, position creation, new hires, terminations and reorganizations.

Support managers and HRBP s by providing guidance and direction on employee related system processes.

Field inquiries from managers and where necessary, walk them through steps of the process.

Reporting of HR data, including but not limited to:
-Create reports to support data integrity, audits and accuracy of employee data
-Support HRBP data needs
-Federal Compliance Reporting Requirements (AAP, EEO and Vets filings).
-Oversee annual process for self-identification by employees

Conducts on-boarding process to include:
-Facilitation of the New Hire Orientation (NHO).
-Preparing new hire paperwork, including I-9 verifications utilizing E-Verify.
-Scheduling and preparation of new hire orientation materials.

Performs Background Verifications to include:
-Administer all aspects of the process, interacting with candidates as needed.
-Notify all appropriate parties of status during the pre-hire process
-Escalate background checks as appropriate to the Sr. Manager, HR Operations
-Oversees the I-9 process including timely completion of forms, E-Verify, vendor management.

Work with support from Assoc Mgr, HR Operations on integration of new divisions & acquisitions.

Completes requests for Unemployment Information.

Partner with Payroll Department to ensure employeerequired for payroll is accurate and entered on a timely basis.

Coordinate process improvement ideas with Assoc Mgr, HR Operations.

Backups other team members, as needed.

Works on special projects and other such duties that the business may require and performs other site specific related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED
Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience is required.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in at least four (4) of the following disciplines: service center, data entry,data analytics & reporting, process design/improvement, leave administration, unemployment insurance administration, project management/cross team leadership or AAP/EEO/Vets reporting.

PREFERRED
Qualifications:

Must be able to lead projects, organize work, set priorities, shift priorities quickly, work independently and work occasional overtime.

Ability to analyze data, and then create and communicate recommendations based on data to meet desired business objectives.

Experience with computer systems preferred.

May include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HRIS systems, preferably SAP

Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.

Must be organized and detail oriented.

Ability to handle stressful issues in a courteous, professional manner.

Must be comfortable and adept at interacting with employees at all levels of the organization.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.
