IT Business Partner

The Sr. Manager, IT Business Partner (BP), is aligned to the Quality function within the Clinical Trials Division (CTD). The BP is responsible for understanding business objectives and requirements for their function(s) and developing the technology strategy needed to enable customer centric innovation. The IT Business Partner is responsible for driving and linking their function(s) to the overall Group/Division IT strategy. Business Partner is the "Product Manager" for the applications that support the function(s) and owns the lifecycle management plan for these applications. This role facilitates the prioritization of technology projects within their area and is responsible for advocating for their priority within the division/group. The BP owns the technology portfolio that supports the functions(s). This includes delivery and support resources which will have a dotted line reporting relationship to the CTD Application Delivery team. They are accountable for ensuring that this portfolio enables data integration and transparency, and that all selected technologies follow Corporate standards. The BP is accountable for ensuring that all Global Security policies and procedures are followed. The BP will embody the concepts of Quality and IT compliance at both the Clinical Trials Division global level and local site(s), and become a true partner with Quality maintaining overall IT Quality Governance for the function, for the division and for the group. The BP is the "Account Manager" for the service line and will leverage resources across CTD, PSG, and Thermo Fisher for support and delivery execution. It is critical that the Business Partner build and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders both within business, IT, and Quality. Responsibilities: Act as the primary point of contact / liaison between Business, Group/Division IT, and Quality. Engage as an integral member of Group/Division IT leadership staff who proactively contributes with leadership for running the IT group Advise Group/Division IT Leadership staff on Business strategy and general infrastructure trends Act as trusted advisor for infrastructure technology to Group/Division IT leadership staff Understand the strategic business direction in an effort to identify opportunities for technology innovation Identify Business technology needs and growth strategies and maintain 3 year technology roadmaps within PPM (Proposals) ensuring the roadmap is evergreen Represent and communicate Business management's Infrastructure Technology needs to Group/Division Actively participate in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process ensuring that Group/Division initiatives are accounted for in Business AOP and Business initiatives are accounted for in Group/Division AOP Prioritize demand for assigned Business collaborating with architecture teams and resource managers to ensure project interdependencies are accounted for and resources able to fulfill demand Ensure that organizational and business related priorities are clearly and consistently communicated Responsible for leading the application development and support teams and their service line's applications. Qualifications: Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. Building strong relationships; excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills. Strong negotiating and influencing skills. Strong management skills and understanding of project management lifecycle. Experience of working in a regulated environment. Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Computers Systems Validation (CSV) is required. Prior experience with GMP and CSV, within the pharmaceutical industry is required. Navigating a large IT department with a high number of technologies and technical disciplines. Significant experience with QMS (TrackWise); LMS (Success Factors) and Document Control Systems (OpenText / Documentum) required. Facilitating innovation in business process and technical solution delivery. Experience leading a matrix team of professionals, and communicating with various levels of management is highly desired. Ability to work with all levels of the organization, both technical and non-technical. More than 5 years working in the Pharmaceuticals or Life Sciences industry (preferred). Bachelor's Degree in the field of information technology, engineering, computer science and / or business administration (required). Advanced degree in business or technology, such as an MBA (preferred). Travel 20% 77742BR

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
