Senior Product Manager

Job Requirements::
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field is required. Master's or MBA is strongly preferred.
Minimum of 6 years of experience providing overall leadership in the market as well as evaluating a given market and assessing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, and developing and implementing strategies is required; OR, a minimum of 4 years of experience with a Master?s/MBA is required.
INTERNAL CANDIDATES: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field and a minimum of 4 years Olympus combined sales/marketing experience is required; or Master?s/MBA with a minimum of 3 years Olympus combined sales/marketing experience is required.
Ability to travel domestically (30-40%) is essential; some international travel is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience managing direct reports within a marketing organization is essential.
Ability to develop and execute business strategy by directing team and resources is necessary.
Strong planning and organizational skills are preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills including interactions with sales and senior customer personnel are vital.
Excellent computer skills and knowledge are desired.
Ability to motivate cross-functional resources in a matrix environment to drive business results is a plus.
Excellent judgment and decision making with demonstrated ability to make sound business decisions is essential.
Ability to lead, coach and develop direct reports by establishing clear direction, setting appropriate goals and providing appropriate direction is preferred.
Must be able to build effective teams by creating strong morale and a culture of high performance.
Ability to clearly communicate business strategies and results to senior management is a must.

Job Duties::
In a typical day, you will:
Lead the creation of the ERCP annual Commercial Business Plan which outlines the vision, goals, strategies and tactics to achieve the business objectives.
Ensure alignment across the organization with leadership and support organization.
Measure the success of strategies with corresponding KPIs and manages results accordingly.
Provide direction to Product Manager(s) on the execution of the commercial business plan including:
- Launch of new products
- Development of value propositions and messaging
- Communicate key selling messages
- Develop and execute clinical strategy to differentiate ERCP portfolio
- Develop and execute Target Account strategies.
Support customers, both internal & external, and develop strong relationships with end users.
Ensure ERCP team build strong relationships with end users and support speaker programs and other ERCP-related training initiatives.
Perform ongoing market assessment and competitive analysis for ERCP product line.
Develop competitive positioning strategies and tactics to support growth in this market.
Train and manage ERCP product management team, providing direction and establishment of goals and objectives.
Provide coaching, development and training to the team members and deploying the team in alignment with the strategy of the ERCP business and overall Olympus direction.
Work closely with Sales leaders to ensure strong collaboration on the execution of the ERCP Commercial Business plan, including the launch of new products, programs, promotions, target account execution and other business initiatives.
Work closely with the supply chain organization to ensure a high quality of service for customers.
Manage physician/surgeon Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships, always following OAI code of ethics and compliance guidelines.
Act as the product and procedure expert to drive large account conversions.
Interface with Olympus Tokyo and other business centers to provide relevant and updated market information as necessary.
Perform other relevant duties as required.
