Billing Analytics Analyst II

Job Duties::
As a Billing Analytics Analyst II working on the Billing team team, you will be empowered and inspired to do your best work. In a typical day, you will:
Play a key role with designing, implementing, and administering policies and procedures related to the development and ongoing operations of the Billing department.
Collaborate with all business areas to review current business processes and systems, determine process and/or system enhancements needed to improve efficiency and remediate areas that give rise to billing discrepancies.
Drive continuous improvement in the Billing function and streamline billing for each area of the business.
Develop, execute and analyze reports to convey key data to management, providing insight into root causes of billing issues and making recommendations on strategies to address and resolve issues.
Conduct customer master hierarchy review and collaborate with Master Data department on needed realignment based on research into customer corporate structure and payment sources.
Provide secondary support for Cforia collections software system (Cforia) administration, including but not limited to maintaining user accounts and user security, testing and implementation of software upgrades and enhancements, and interfaces to other systems.
Support training needs for Cforia, contributing to development of training programs that develop Cforia user and super user skills and optimize user engagement with the system.
Conduct continuous review to ensure that ongoing training is provided for new features and functionality.
Support A/R analytics that drive business strategies via routine and ad hoc reporting for management; make recommendations for strategies to address negative trends in A/R.
Provide guidance for, and at times produce, month-end and quarterly A/R reporting in various formats including but not limited to AMEC; ExCom; Board report; Tokyo report; Monthly A/R Dept reports; Sunshine Act reporting; JSOX compliance reporting; KPI reporting for MBOs.
Standardize reporting to maximize efficiency.
Develop depth of understanding of business groups, data components, sources and reconciliations to develop solutions and enable rapid response to changing and urgent information needs.
Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements::
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma is required; Bachelor?s Degree is preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of Accounts Receivable, Collections, Billing or equivalent experience is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Experience with SAP and collections software is required; experience with process design is preferred.
Must possess in depth knowledge of A/R business processes and issues, and be able to synthesize knowledge of the A/R process with systems knowledge to implement systems-based solutions to business needs.
Must understand the needs that business users, customers, and management have from the A/R function.
Must be detail oriented and organized.
Competency with MS Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, etc.
Strong systems aptitude and prior experience with collections software is essential.
Must have strong communication skills.

The Billing Analytics Analyst II is responsible for administration of systems in support of the Billing function, design and production of reports for assessment of A/R and billing quality and performance, and proactive management of customer master hierarchy. The incumbent must possess in-depth knowledge of billing and accounts receivable business processes, to contribute to the development of efficient and effective tools for trouble shooting issues. He/She will have a key role in the review, analysis and remediation of current business processes that feed through to billing output, and in optimizing Billing department operations. The incumbent will be responsible for continuous review and maintenance of customer master hierarchy with regard to mapping of partner functions for related entities. He/She will be responsible for creation and maintenance of policies, standard operating procedures, work instructions, work tools, reporting and billing data analytics.
