Technical Service Specialist

Job Requirements::
(ONLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED)
High School Diploma is required; Associate's Degree or higher is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of hands on technical service experience in any industry is required; electronics service is preferred.
General repair capability is essential.
Previous digital camera repair experience is a plus; Optical experience is desired.
Photography experience is highly desired.
General ability to read exploded parts diagrams and repair manuals is essential.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to resolve customer complaints are desired.
Must work well under pressure and in handling difficult customer interactions.
Strong organizational and communication skills are necessary.
Must be a team player to support continuous improvement of processes.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft office and ability to quickly learn current program (SAP) is necessary/
Must have data analysis and integrity focus.
Must be self directed worker with ability to prioritize based on departmental goals.
Must be willing to travel, approximately 30% of time.
Job Duties::
Provide service training to service centers in North and South America within Olympus territory.
Perform Clean & Check services at CPG events to maintain customer satisfaction and customer loyalty.
Perform new product inspections and resolve product quality issues.
Analyze new product defects and solve difficult repair issues.
Serve as first line contact for all Repair Centers for Technical and/or Repair Support (including parts orders).
Ability to compile monthly service reports, identify service failures with 3rd party repair facilities, resolve with repair facilities, and highlight to management so that KPI?s and quality standards are maintained in all service centers.
Assist in Forecasting parts usage and needs based on SAP data.
Must maintain adequate part levels in all inventory locations.
Enter, update, and monitor parts orders in SAP Forecast parts usage and needs based on SAP data.
Must maintain adequate part levels.
Perform all other essential duties as assigned.
Job Description:
Center Valley, PA - The Technical Service Specialist is responsible to provide technical support for internal and external customers, including consumers, independent shops, subcontractors, and authorized service facilities. The incumbent requires working with and in conjunction with all OAI-CPG service areas (Customer Service, Administration, Technical Group and Repair Centers). He/She has knowledge of Camera Repair and the ability to train, audit and improve service operations.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
