Center Valley, PA - Recent state and federal laws require robust documentation and reporting with respect to interactions between health care professionals (HCP) and medical device companies. The Coordinator, HCP Consulting Management will work closely with the Legal Department and the Government and Regulatory Compliance Department (GRC) to facilitate compliant contracting practices between OCA business groups and HCPs. Emphasis will be placed on driving process enhancement, recordkeeping, and meeting company policy and legal requirements associated with engaging HCPs to provide marketing, research and development, educational, clinical and other related services to the Company. Coordinate with OCA business groups, Olympus global business centres', GRC, and Legal Department with respect to pending Agreements to track, streamline and expedite requests into fully executed agreements.
Review, facilitate, and track requests for professional consulting services agreements (Agreements) with HCPs and affiliated entities by coordinating receipt of key information required by GRC and applicable law.
Work closely with HCPs, OCA business groups, Olympus global business centers, OCA Legal department and GRC to assist the management of Agreements in compliance with OCA policy and applicable law.
Assist with database and reporting of active Agreements.
Assist with internal reconciliation and proper coding of expenses, upon approval for payment for services rendered via an Agreement.
Process Purchase Requisitions for approved payments and monitor through the payment process.
Educate OCA business groups and corporate shared services with respect to compliance obligations pertaining to industry interactions with HCPs, in coordination with GRC.
Function both independently and as part of a team to deliver quality work product in a timely fashion in a fast-paced environment.
Assist with logistics planning, meeting preparation and consultant paperwork for medical meetings assigned to the HCP Department.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Associate's Degree (Marketing, Accounting, Business or Finance preferred) is required, Paralegal Certification is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years experience in project development and oversight is preferred.

Must be PC literate (word, excel, PowerPoint, familiarity with mainframe systems).
Must possess an understanding of fraud and abuse, anti-kickback, and other rules and regulations applicable to medical device companies.
Must be exceptionally organized and prepared to work gracefully under pressure in a fast-paced, expanding, and dynamic corporate environment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
