Center Valley, PA - The Import/Export Operations Manager will manage and supervise Olympus Import/Export operations and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. The incumbent will coordinate and oversee the services provided by contracted Customs Brokers, Freight Forwarders and Carriers. He/She will support the operating groups and corporate departments with domestic and international shipping needs. The incumbent will develop and maintain international lines of communication with Olympus Tokyo, vendors and related companies. He/She will also administer US Customs C-TPAT and ISA programs. Manage and supervise all Import/Export and Domestic freight operations, including the services and functions provided by Customs Brokers, carriers and Freight Forwarders.
Provide necessary guidance to the operating divisions and corporate departments in order to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and routing of domestic and international shipping needs.
Review (and when necessary prepare) import/export documentation. Also, review Custom entries for accuracy.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate Harmonized Tariff classifications for all OAI and OIMA products.
Communicate with overseas vendors and shippers with regard to shipping schedules, modes of transportation and proper invoice descriptions. Assure timely delivery of products to distribution centers
Liaise with the OAI Regulatory Department to ensure compliance with FDA regulatory requirements.
Supervise and /or process and review all invoices for payment from transportation vendors.
Maintain and manage active and ongoing Canadian Returns Program.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

A Bachelor's Degree in a related disciple is preferred.
A minimum of 5-7 years of related work experience is required.
Strong Microsoft Suite skills are necessary.
Interpersonal and people skills are essential.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary.
Hazmat certification and broker's license a plus.
