5K a year 20 hours ago 20 hours ago 20 hours ago POSITION SUMMARY The Office Assistant provides administrative support for the professional staff of the Academic Success Center.
This position implements academic advising assignments, as directed, for the undergraduate day population, utilizing Colleague to perform these duties, along with emailing students and faculty to inform them of the change.
This work includes the processing of changes of major, dual majors, minors, and changes of track.
The assistant maintains spreadsheets and generates letters and mailings for programs within the ASC.
The assistant also serves as receptionist; fulfilling an important role by interacting with the students of DeSales University, particularly students participating in Gateway To Success (GTS); and assists with the administration of tutoring via our appointment scheduling software system.
This individual processes payroll and paperwork for up to 100 peer tutors every pay period.
Yearly, the assistant generates a report of appointments from this software system, for use in our annual report.
Services delivered for the GTS program include maintaining academic files, arranging workshops, following up with students regarding requirements that have not been completed, communicating with students on upcoming events and assessments to be administered by staff, supporting staff with administrative tasks related the summer bridge GTS program, maintaining a database of students and their academic progress, and generating department reports.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
